Radiomar began by offering maintenance and repairs to deep sea vessels calling the Brazilian ports with Furuno and Marconi equipments. The relationship with Furuno in the form of exclusive representation for the Brazil market remount to the foundation and soon began to sell its products to the fishing vessels. Radiomar quickly expanded into the Offshore Supply Vessels market, Navy and Deep Sea vessels in order to satisfy the increasing demand from those sectors.

In the middle 80`s Radiomar anticipated to the market trend and successfully introduced Furuno equipments in the pleasure boats segment. At the same time, Radiomar bring in new complimentary products, which included satellite communication equipments.
