Once again Furuno is the big winner of NMEA Product Award, beside KVH, both represented by Radiomar in Brazil.

This is the most important award in the USA, and is given by the National Marine Electronics Association as a way to recognize the excellence in design, performance and reliability of marine equipments produced along the year. The winners are chosen through votes from executives, distributers and other professionals of marine industry.

Last year Furuno won 10 of 25 categories. This year the number of categories narrowed down to 7, and Furuno keeps beign the biggest winner with 4 awards and KVH with 2.

Since 1964, the year of the first award, Furuno has already received 160 awards. Navnet receives for the fourth consecutive year the award of best marine equipment and Furuno receives the award of best radar for 30 consecutive years.
