Founded in 1954 in Japan by Tokuzo Inoue, Icom started as a radio maker for the amateur market. Throughout the years, the company grew and started to produce a complete set of equipments for land aeronautics and marine communications, fixed and mobile. The Icom products are the state-of-art, as some of the marine radios which work even underwater. Today, Icom has branches and dealers on the whole world, including in Brazil, where it is represented by Radiomar.
