The DRS4D-NXT took the award for best leisure radar at nmea (National Marine Electronics Association) 2019 in the USA.

This is Furuno's best-selling solid state radar. Also known as doppler radar, this model that no longer uses the old magnetron valves.

This allows the use of new pulse transmission techniques varying in frequency, which allows greater resolution of targets, discrimination of targets even amid rain clouds and greater sensitivity. More information in this  link and this link.
